Daniel2 Knight (Thomas1) was born November 15, 1876 in Dunmore , Kilnalappa, Galway Ireland, and died August 20, 1960 in Boothstown, Manchester, England.He married Brigid Crudden Abt. 1908 in Sacred Heart Church, Tyldesley Manchester.She was born 1877 in Tyldesley Manchester, and died November 12, 1936.

Daniel Knight emigrated to Boothstown, a small coal mining town in England, near Manchester.He already had
cousins in the area.He worked at a colliery known as Mosely Common Colliery.His grandson, Donal Knight,
has the certificate awarded to him as a member of the mine rescue team.His moving there must have prompted
his Mother's move to Boothstown, where she died.

When Daniel first arrived in England, he lived with older brother, Edward and family, in the Manchester area.

Sometime in 1908, Daniel married Brigid Crudden and raised a family in the Manchester, England area.Daniel
and Brigid raised six children, including a set of twins, Harry and Agnes.

Most of Daniel's grandchildren still live in the Manchester area.
